CLASS OF TRAVEL

Southwest Airlines provides its passengers two separate classes, Economy and Business Class. For now, Luxury Economy and First Class passengers are not sold by the carrier. Even though, customers can conveniently book their tickets by contacting Southwest Airlines Customer Service, and can pick classes to fly for their ease and comfort. Economic class seats range from 31-33-inch pitch and 17-17.8-inch wide with 2-inch reclining and flexible headrests. The positions of its business class are the same as those of its economy class.

BAGGAGE POLICY

The airlines provide travellers with carry-on and checked luggage facilities. Passengers travelling with airlines can bring one item per passenger. It is necessary to ensure that the luggage does not reach the maximum of 10 x 16 x 24 inches (24 x 40 x 60cm). In addition, travellers should also take a personal object with them, such as a handbag, a suitcase, a laptop or a briefcase. Passengers can take two items or bags free of charge with their checked luggage. It is necessary to ensure that the weight of these bags is not more than 50 lb per piece and fits into the overall measurements of 157 cm (62 inches).

Check in 24 hours before departure to get your boarding position

We don’t assign seats at Southwest, so boarding the aircraft earlier means you have more seats to choose from. The check-in window opens 24 hours before your flight, and your check-in time determines your boarding position. Check in right at the 24-hour mark for a good boarding position!
